Chopped Straw Hay Balers

Baling chopped straw and hay isn’t just for agricultural applications. There are plenty of instances where a baling machine can be used in a manufacturing facility that produces leftover straw, hay, wood shavings, and similar. Animal bedding manufacturers, certain textile companies, and (of course) the above-mentioned agricultural industries all could have a need for baling chopped straw and hay.

One key aspect of baling these materials is producing a stable end product (the bale itself) that is easy to handle, and also doesn’t leave a trail of debris. Sinobaler has led the development of Baling equipment for this use, producing Vertical and Horizontal balers which compress and package chopped Straw/Hay in plastic or woven bags. This last part is important, as it keeps manufacturing and work areas much cleaner, and also makes bales that don’t produce dust.

Let’s discuss the bagging aspect for a second. We’ve developed a process where the bag is applied on the exit channel by hand (this allows the baler itself to be very versatile – much more so than if the bagging was automatic)). After filling, the bag is closed manually with tape. Depending on the type of baler you purchase, the weight of the bags can vary from 7lbs to 66 lbs.
Our Horizontal Baler, with a stored-program controller PLC, can produce and pack 60 packaged bales an hour (weighing up to 55lbs at 28'' x 16'' x 12''.) The machine is equipped with a simple one-button operation, and has a sensor switch on the hopper for controlling bales under your desired weight. We can even provide an Automatic Feeding Conveyor to maximize baling efficiency.
Our Vertical Baler, with a capacity up to 30 bales an hour, takes few minutes to produce one bale, but the bales can be a bit larger (up to 66 lbs.) Both machines need only one operator, making them very labor- efficient.
We can also customize our straw/hay balers, and design them to your specific requirements. If you have a fiber-based material in mind and need a baler manufacturer, contact Sinobaler today and we’ll get you exactly what you need.

Vertical Bagging Baler
Vertical Bagging Baler

Vertical balers & bagging machines are ideal for compressing and packaging small, loose materials that would otherwise be a headache to handle and ship. In short, these vertical balers first press the materials into a compact form, and then bag the bales, ensuring easy handling and transportation. Almost any type of loose material can be baled and bagged, making these machines ideal for  pet food factories, animal bedding material [...]

Horizontal Briquetting Baler
Horizontal Briquetting Baler

Our horizontal briquetting balers represent the latest in baling technology, and are the ideal solution to baling specific materials. For example, sawdust, chopped straw, waste material from certain foods (rice husks, peanut shells, etc.) – these materials are difficult to compact and move (you simple cannot “tie” a bale of loose peanut shells.) One solution is to bale and bag them with a horizontal bagging baler. The other solution is to [...]
