Think about it; wood shavings are used extensively in animal bedding, from small caged pets to livestock to poultry. The main reasons are wood shavings stay fluffy and warm for a long time, and are also highly resistant to bacteria. That said, in order for wood shavings to be reused, they have to be compressed and bagged – this makes for much easier handling, transport, and storage. The machine is equipped with a simple one button operation, and an optional automatic feeding conveyor can be equipped for maximizing throughput.
The vertical baler is not quite as fast (30 bales an hour), but takes up far less space. In both cases, the balers are ideal for wood shavings, but can also be used for other materials.
