Experience the Benefits of Biomass Baler

Our day-to-day activities lead to the generation of a large amount of waste. Some of it can be easily degraded while some others are not easily decomposed. The biomass waste is the one, which can be decomposed easily. However, such kind of waste gets generated by us on a daily basis in large amounts and hence, need to be regulated in a proper manner. To curb the problem of this mass generation, scientists are in constant dedication to inventing a way to serve as the ultimate solution. One such invention is the Biomass Baler. It has the responsibility of converting the biomass waste generated into a form, which can be reused for some other purpose. This process involves the major task of “biomass collection”.

By biomass collection, it is meant to perform the operations. It involves gathering, packing and the transportation of the biomass as a whole to some nearby area. These can be stored on a temporary basis. There are various factors, which influence the collection amount and the storage of the biomass. These factors might include:

  • – The operations for collection
  • – The collection equipment’s efficiency
  • – The practices carried out for crop management
  • – Environmental barriers
  • – Level of soil erosion
  • – Level of pollution in the area
  • – Soil productivity maintenance

When such factors are looked upon, the most effective method for biomass collection comes out to be “biomass baling” using the biomass baler.

An Insight into the Biomass Baler

With the use of the biomass baler, the biomass wastes can be converted into either round or rectangular structures to enable the process of biomass collection. The tractor or vehicular pulled balers are used to make the large pieces of square, round or rectangular bales. With the help of a bale accumulator which is pulled behind the biomass baler, these rectangular or square-shaped bales are collected in groups of four to five, each time. These are then carried to the respective fields.

Now, it is the responsibility of the automatic collector of the bales to travel to the respective fields and fulfill the process of biomass collection. With the help of the automatic bale collector, the bales are unloaded into the form of a stack onto the sides of the field. A truck with a flat bed can also be used to collect the bales in the case of the unavailability of the automatic collector. A bale loader can also be used for this purpose. A loader can be used to collect the bales in a stack form, which can be trapped with the use of a forklift and some sort of manual labor.

After the biomass collection is accomplished with the use of the biomass baler, the subsequent operations, which follow, are:

  • – Loafing: It involves picking up of the biomass and making the larger stacks of the same.
  • – Chopping of dry biomass: It involves chopping into smaller pieces of the approximate size of 2.5 cm- 5.0 cm.
  • – Chopping of wet biomass: It involves the compaction of the biomass waste.
  • – Harvesting the whole crop: Here, the entire biomass, which has been collected, is transferred to a specific location for using it for some purpose.
