Preventative Maintenance

	Cleanliness Always keep the machine clean, especially around the operation control system. Remove dust, dirt or any materials on/near the machine.		Daily
	Inspection of Pipeline Damage Inspect pipeline where material enters into baling chamber for damage or obstructions		Daily
	Oil Leak Detection Excessive oil on the cylinder rod is a sign that the seals should be replaced. A thin-film of oil is considered as normal. Improper tightening or adjusting fittings may cause leaking problem. Finding the root that causes leakage earlier can avoid big problems to the operation of hydraulic system.		Weekly
	Lubrication Lubricate the door hinges, latches and gate guides		Monthly
	Replacement of Oil Filter Replace oil filter in hydraulic system		Yearly

Solutions

Low Pressure

Relief valve is adjusted to a lower level

During the material compressing, please adjust relief valve knob and tighten up adjustment knob when the pressure meter is up to 8-14mpa. If relief valve is not available for adjustment, please clean it for a try. A new replacement of relief valve will be the final solution.

Noisy operation may indicate pump cavitations

Check whether oil tank is sufficient for operation;
Check if there is a loosening of an import pipeline.

Filter is blocked

Check if the sucking oil filter is blocked. If yes, please find a new replacement

Pump may be damaged

Check if the pump is damaged and find a new replacement when necessary

Cylinder seal is damaged

Disassemble cylinder and replace seals

Cylinder rod of oil tank is bent resulting in seal failure results

Check cylinder rod

Failure of pipeline sealing

Check O style seak and find a new replacement when necessary

Machine is not working

Pump may be running in the wrong direction

Replace any two of the motor leads in the control panel

Without hydraulic oil

Inject a certain amount of hydraulic oil

The cylinder can only move towards one direction

Valve sticking

Use a tool to promote the valve in the back-end hole of the electromagnet to see if it can get promoted.
Check both ends if is plugged or dirty.

The platen of the baler is not working

Valve coil burned out

Inspect circuit system with multimeter. If the wire is good, please check coil. If there is no signal from circuits, please check the line.

Up limit switch or down limit switch is broken

Check the limit switch with multimeter

Note: While observing the parameter of the pressure meter each time, please ensure that it is switched on and is working well.
