Closed-End Semi-Automatic Horizontal Baler Compacting Plastic Films with Bin Tipper Feeding
Model: SHB1-1200
Processing loose plastic films such as stretch film, shrink wrap, and PE packaging film can be challenging due to their low density and high volume. In this demonstration video, we show how a closed-end semi-automatic horizontal baler, paired with a bin tipper feeding system, creates an efficient and streamlined workflow for recycling operations.
How the System Works
1. Automatic Feeding by Bin Tipper
Plastic films are first collected in large bins.
The bin tipper automatically lifts each bin and empties the films directly into the hopper of the baler.
This hands-free feeding method reduces manual labor, improves safety, and ensures consistent feeding—especially important for fluffy film materials.
2. Films Enter the Closed-End Compression Chamber
After falling into the hopper, the films move into the baler’s closed-end compression chamber.
This structure provides stronger back pressure and helps achieve higher bale density, making it ideal for lightweight plastic films.
3. Hydraulic Compaction
The baler’s hydraulic ram compresses the films into a tight, uniform block.
The closed-end design enhances bale compaction and ensures a neat bale shape.
4. Manual Tying of the Bale
Once the bale reaches its preset length, the operator manually ties the bale through the tying slots.
This manual-tie system is simple, reliable, and ensures secure bales for transportation and storage.
After tying, the finished bale is automatically ejected onto the floor or a pallet, ready for forklifting or stacking.
Why Choose This Setup?
- Closed-end design → higher bale density
- Bin tipper feeding → safer, faster, and more efficient
- Ideal for light, fluffy materials like films and foils
- Stable manual-tie system with low maintenance cost
- Perfect for recycling centers, warehouses, and logistics facilities
This combination of bin tipper + closed-end semi-automatic baler offers a cost-effective, high-efficiency solution for managing bulky plastic film waste.
If you’re looking to improve film recycling productivity, this baler is a reliable choice for medium to large operations. Contact SINOBALER today!
